Meet Joe Humphrey, Branch Manager

For the greater part of the last (35) thirty-five years, I have been involved in the “Home-Buying Process” in one capacity or another. Starting with my family’s business in Flint, MI much of my life has been focused on Real-Estate. During my early college years at Mott Community College®, I worked as a Bookkeeper/Assistant Admin at Gatewood Realty®; a Real-Estate office owned and operated by my eldest sister. While under her tutelage, I gathered life-long skills on how to best multi-task a multitude of tasks and deadlines throughout the day.

When the time had come and after years of Professional Sales in various industries, I determined that Real-Estate and Mortgage would be my industries of choice. I have always been a passionate crusader supporting the under-serviced segment of the communities where I lived and worked.

I got my start in the Mortgage Industry with AmeriQuest Mortgage® back in 2002 where I was recognized as a Top Producer originating upwards of $100M in refinance transactions in little over 3 years.

I went on to run mortgage branches both in Michigan and now in Texas where I reside with my beautiful wife and family. Today, I’m with Summit Mortgage and in addition to supporting home buyers throughout Texas and Michigan, I also operate an online Mortgage Branch where we have a focus on working with 1st-time home buyers, self-employed individuals and most notably, veterans through VA REP-Houston®; a Nonprofit dedicated to increasing sustainable homeownership, financial-literacy education, and economic opportunities for the military community of the Greater Houston, TX Area which totals over 300,000 individuals.

Lastly, and most importantly, I am an Ordained Minister, Husband, Father, Music Producer, Life Coach, and “Serial Entrepreneur” who believes no one is beyond helping and giving attention to. I have dedicated most of my adult life to helping others as I personally believe, “Service to Many Leads to Greatness!”
