I'm Mark Kurth, a Summit Mortgage Regional Manager, and I'm looking for ambitious loan officers ready to take their careers to the next level.

With over 30 years in the mortgage industry — spanning big banks, small banks, correspondent lenders, and brokers — I’ve found that the independent mortgage broker model is simply the best place to be. That experience has shaped my belief that the right environment makes all the difference, both for clients and for the loan officers I work with.

What drives me most in this business is the human side of it: watching a first-time buyer get the keys to their home, or seeing a loan officer break through to the next level of their career. That’s where the real reward is. As a Regional Manager, my focus is on giving loan officers the support, tools, and leadership they need to build something they’re proud of.

Outside of work, I’m a husband and dad of two college students, and a proud owner of a King Charles Cavalier named Henry. I’m a former Mayor of Lexington, MN and a retired paid-on-call firefighter with 16½ years of service. When I’m not in the office, you’ll find me on the golf course, out on the water fishing or boating, or spending time with friends and family.
